Research work of the department
The department's scientific research activities are focused on the development, optimization, and clinical implementation of innovative diagnostic and treatment methods in medicine. At the same time, they aim to train the younger generation into highly qualified, competitive specialists in line with global standards. Furthermore, the development of novel surgical procedures utilizing modern medical technologies, as well as the routine performance of organ transplantation surgeries, is being extensively expanded.
All staff members of the department actively participate in the scientific research activities of the department and the University Multidisciplinary Clinic. Currently, three staff members (S.O. Sulaymanov, Z.N. Nazarov, and A.A. Egamberdiyev) are pursuing their research as independent researchers. All department faculty members are fully engaged in scientific research.

Over the past three years, the department staff has published nearly 500 scientific papers, including more than 180 articles in international journals. Additionally, 4 textbooks and 8 monographs on surgical diseases have been published, along with approximately 30 software program copyrights.
