Aminov Zafar Zayirovich graduated from Samarkand State Medical Institute in 2002. In 2001-2003 he worked as assistant to the president of the Association of Medical Students, in 2008 he became a monitoring and evaluation specialist at Project HOPE International. From 2008 to 2010 he had been studying a Master's student at the State University of New York. During 2010 - 2013 years he continued his research as a doctoral student at the State University of New York. From 2013 to 2020 he had been working as Head of Department of Public Health, General Hygiene and Ecology at Samarkand State Medical Institute. In 2014-2018, he carried out activities as Vice-Rector for Academic Lyceums and Colleges of Samarkand State Medical Institute, from 2018 to 2020 he became Head of Department of Public Health, General Hygiene and Ecology with part-time Head of International Relations of Samarkand State Medical Institute. From 2020 to the present time he has been serving as the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation of Samarkand State Medical University. Aminov Zafar Zayirovich during his career has shown a thirst for knowledge, a desire for innovation and dedication, was highly respected by patients, department and staff members.
DUTIES OF VICE-RECTOR FOR INTERNATIONAL WORK INCLUDES:
- Implementation of the tasks set in the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 20, 2017, No PD-2909 "On measures for further development of higher education", as well as the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dated 28.01.2022, No. PD-60 "On the development strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022 - 2026" to improve the skills of teachers, the study of foreign experience in education and conduct some work on the introduction of advanced developments in the educational process;
- Consideration and approval of documents of representatives of the university sent on foreign business trips;
- Organization of seminars and round tables for faculty, staff and students of the university based on the analysis of projects;
- Consideration, analysis and recommendations on agreements, contracts and protocols of the University with foreign partners. If necessary, coordinate the documents with the relevant organisations.
