History
Urgut College of Public Health named after Abu Ali Ibn Sina 2005. Urgut Medical College was founded. On September 6, 2019, by Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PF-5812, it was reorganized into the Urgut College of Public Health named after Abu Ali Ibn Sina with the transition to a vocational education system. Urgut Technical School of Public Health named after Abu Ali Ibn Sina address: 12 soil Street, Urgut city. There are cadastral documents giving the right of ownership. The Urgut College of Public Health named after Abu Ali Ibn Sina 1 Building consists of 3 floors, the educational institution has a design capacity of 720, is currently in good condition, the number of theoretical and practical classrooms is 64.
SPIRITUAL AND EDUCATIONAL WORK
One of the main activities of the Urgut Abu Ali Ibn Sina College of Public Health is the formation of students' moral values, interest in professional activities, the need for a healthy lifestyle, and their involvement in the mass cultural activities of the college. To implement these tasks, the college has a coaching council, which carries out its activities according to the approved plan. In order to organize students' leisure activities in a meaningful way, various scientific circles, spiritual, educational and sports circles are organized.

In cooperation with the Samarkand State Medical University, participation in scientific and practical conferences has been ensured, at which good results have been achieved.
Urgut College of Public Health named afterAbu Ali Ibn Sina when using modern teaching methods using ICT, there is a TV in 7 rooms in 9 classrooms there are computers and 1 computer classroom is organized, in which 15 computers are all connected to the fiberglass Internet. The Abu Ali Ibn Sina Urgut College of Public Health has organized a telecommunications system in which thematic videos, presentations, multimedia programs, lectures and practical exercises are broadcast using televisions connected to a central computer. There is a single bank of scanned images intended for visual and didactic material in collections of educational materials compiled on the basis of the curriculum and corresponding to all sections of the curriculum.
The Urgut College of Public Health named after Abu Ali Ibn Sina ARM library is also equipped with 9 computers connected to the Internet. These computers are connected to the virtual library of the Samarkand State Medical University. They are constantly used by our teacher and students.
In order to improve the scientific potential of the Urgut Abu Ali Ibn Sina College of Public Health, a Scientific Council was established. Students and teachers are attached according to the tradition of uztoz-shakirt. Various events were organized at this council. Currently, students of the college take an active part in district and regional competitions.In the intellect competition, the college team took the third place in the region.
The Urgut Abu Ali Ibn Sina College of Public Health, in cooperation with the Samarkand Medical University, successfully conducts scientific and practical work, including actively participating in the 76th International Scientific and Practical Conference on “Achievements of Fundamental, Applied Medicine and Pharmacy”, which was held on May 20-21, 2022 at the Samarkand Medical University.
