History
Urgut Abu Ali ibn Sino Public Health Technical School was reorganized in 2005 on the basis of Urgut Medical College. On September 6, 2019, by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PF-5812, by transition to the professional education system. Reorganized with the status of Urgut Abu Ali ibn Sino Public Health Technical School. The address of Urgut Abu Ali ibn Sino Public Health Technical School is 12, Pochvan Street, Urgut. There are cadastral documents granting ownership rights. Urgut Abu Ali ibn Sino Public Health Technical School consists of 1 building with 3 floors, the educational institution has a design capacity of 720 students, is currently in good condition, and the number of theoretical and practical classrooms is 64.
SPIRITUAL AND EDUCATIONAL WORK
One of the main activities of the Urgut Abu Ali ibn Sino Public Health College is to form in students moral values, interest in professional activities, the need for a healthy lifestyle, and to involve them in mass and cultural events of the college. To implement these tasks, a council of mentors operates at the college, which carries out its activities in accordance with the approved plan. In order to meaningfully organize students' free time, various scientific circles, spiritual and educational and sports circles have been established.
EDUCATIONAL AND METHODICAL WORK
Training is carried out according to the following approved documents for each course and direction:

Urgut Abu Ali ibn Sino Public Health College has 3 Heads of Departments of “Specialized Sciences” and teachers with the category of Senior Lecturer.
Participation in scientific and practical conferences in collaboration with Samarkand State Medical University has been ensured and good results have been achieved in them.
In particular, the textbooks and study guides published by the Director of the College M. Fazliyev, the Teacher of Pediatric Nursing A. Turaqulov, and the Teacher of Chemistry N. Kechkarov in collaboration with the University’s academic teachers are among them.
Urgut Abu Ali ibn Sino Public Health College uses modern teaching methods using ICT. There are 16 televisions in each room, 12 classrooms have computers, and 2 computer classrooms have been organized, equipped with 40 computers, all of which are connected to the fiber optic Internet network. These ICT devices are regularly used by students during classes and in their free time. The following technical facilities are available in the teaching process:
A telecommunications system has been organized at Urgut Abu Ali ibn Sino Public Health College, and videos, presentations, multimedia programs, lectures and practical exercises on the subject are shown using televisions connected to the central computer. There is a single bank of scanned images intended for visual didactic materials in sets of teaching materials compiled according to the curriculum and corresponding to all sections of the curriculum.
The ARM library of the Urgut Abu Ali ibn Sino Public Health Technical School is also equipped with 9 computers, connected to the Internet. These computers are connected to the virtual library of Samarkand State Medical University. Our teachers and students use them regularly.
