APPLICATION PROCEDURE
At Samarkand State Medical University (SSMU), foreign citizens have the right to choose any available faculty and study program. Detailed information about faculties and academic programs can be found by following this link:

Admission rules: Foreign citizens are admitted to SSMU based on an interview (oral examination) in Biology, Chemistry, and the language of instruction (Russian or English).
Entrance exam subjects: Biology, Chemistry, English language, Russian language.
LIST OF REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR ADMISSION
- Application addressed to the Rector of the university (according to the approved template);
- Bachelor’s diploma (or equivalent higher education document) and its supplement (academic transcript);
- Copy of passport or other identification document (pages containing photo and permanent/residence registration information);
- Medical certificate in Form 086/U issued by an authorized medical institution;
- Employment record book (for employed applicants, if available);
- Pension fund record book or relevant certificate (if available);
- One electronic photo (10 × 15 cm, JPG format, minimum 300 DPI);
- Medical documents:
- Medical certificate Form 086/U;
- Official vaccination certificate against Varicella (Chickenpox);
- HIV test result certificate issued not earlier than three (3) months before application;
- Certificate of passing a comprehensive medical examination (students are required to undergo a full medical check-up once per academic year during their studies).
