The department trains 4th and 5th year students of the medical and international faculties in the Surgical Diseases program.
The department has established training for highly qualified specialists in the areas of master's degree and clinical residency.
The educational and methodological work of the department is organized in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan on education.
According to this Regulation, students of the department, while studying faculty and hospital surgery, become familiar with practical clinical aspects, learn to work with equipment, and subsequently master research methods that they will encounter independently in practical work.
At the department, students acquire practical clinical skills by studying faculty and hospital surgical practices, learning to work with diagnostic and therapeutic equipment and research methods, and then applying their acquired knowledge in practice.
Practical classes at the department are held throughout the day. Three hours of practical work, two hours of seminars, and one hour of tests. To develop students' practical clinical skills, the department has created a simulation classroom equipped with modern phantoms and models.
