O‘zbekiston Respublikasi Prezidentining joriy yil 11-sentabrdagi ko‘rsatmasiga asosan, Olmazor tumanidagi “Yoshlik” talabalar shaharchasida tashkil etilgan “Vaziyatlar markazi” faoliyati bilan tanishish jarayonida bir qator vazifalar belgilab berilgan edi.

  Based on the instructions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 11 of this year, a number of tasks were defined during the review of the activities of the "Situation Center" established in the "Yoshlik" student campus in the Almazar district.

  In order to ensure the implementation of these tasks, a working group consisting of representatives of the General Prosecutor's Office, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations, the Samarkand Regional Prosecutor's Office, and the regional administration (Khokimiyat) visited Samarkand State Medical University.

  During the visit, the working group thoroughly examined the student safety system at the university, the security measures being taken, and the modern technological solutions implemented in this direction. Furthermore, the ongoing work on creating a safe educational environment on the university campus, making effective use of available technical capabilities, and preventing potential incidents was inspected.

  In particular, to further develop the video surveillance system in the university buildings and territories, a total of 317 modern video surveillance cameras, as well as 24 Face ID turnstiles for the entrances of the New Educational Building, were purchased, installed in designated areas, and put into operation.

  At the end of the visit, the working group provided the university officials with relevant recommendations on further enhancing student safety, improving existing security systems, and eliminating the identified shortcomings. The subsequent measures to be implemented in this direction were also outlined.

  Samarkand State Medical University consistently continues its efforts aimed at ensuring the safety and well-being of students, creating a secure educational environment, and making effective use of modern technologies.
