Representatives of the Specialized Scientific and Practical Center for Neurosurgery and Neurorehabilitation under SamSMU Visited Avicenna Tajik State Medical University
On September 16 of this year, a delegation from the Specialized Scientific and Practical Center for Neurosurgery and Neurorehabilitation under Samarkand State Medical University paid an official visit to the Avicenna Tajik State Medical University in Dushanbe.
This visit marked a significant step toward further strengthening academic, scientific, and practical ties between the leading higher medical educational institutions of the two countries.
Within the framework of the academic mobility program, representatives of Samarkand State Medical University delivered a series of lectures for students, residents, and young specialists of Tajik State Medical University. The lectures provided detailed information on modern approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of Parkinson's disease.
During the visit, the delegation closely familiarized itself with the facilities, technical resources, scientific and methodological potential, and clinical capabilities of the Department and Division of Neurosurgery at Tajik State Medical University.
As an important practical component of the collaboration, joint medical consultations were organized, during which neurosurgeons from both countries discussed complex clinical cases and exchanged views on the optimal treatment tactics for critically ill patients.
At the conclusion of the visit, fruitful negotiations were held with the leadership of the host university, and concrete measures for further expanding bilateral cooperation were outlined. In particular, special attention was paid to organizing joint scientific research, conducting master classes, and further intensifying academic exchange programs.
