A spiritual and educational event aimed at safeguarding youth from alien ideologies, strengthening ideological immunity, and ensuring the meaningful organization of leisure time was held at Samarkand State Medical University.

  The event was inaugurated by E. Tangirov, First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work. In his opening address, he particularly emphasized that steering students toward academic pursuits and professional excellence serves as the most fundamental deterrent against crime and extremist influences.

  Speaking at the gathering, R. Sultonov, Chief Specialist of the Samarkand Regional Department of the Committee on Religious Affairs, cautioned participants against destructive narratives, religious extremism, and fanaticism proliferating via social media platforms. He further underscored that such threats can only be effectively countered through sound enlightenment and an objective, healthy worldview.

  Addressing the audience, O. Eshmurodov highlighted that crime prevention among youth is not the sole prerogative of law enforcement agencies, but a collective societal imperative concerning each individual.

  The meeting served as an important call to vigilance for university students, reinforcing their sense of patriotism and fostering a deeper appreciation of societal peace as the utmost blessing.
