  In 2021, Samarkand State Medical University under the program Erasmus+ became a participant of the project 619037-EPP-1-2020-1-EL-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP «Fostering the doctor of the 21st century: education for-centered communication» («Promoting the Development of a Doctor of the 21st Century: Training in Patient-Centered Communication»), that the applicant is the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) (Greece).

  This project is co-financed by ERASMUS+ in the field of higher education (E+CBHE)). The duration of the project is 3 years, in which universities of European countries, the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan participate.

  The FOR 21 project is a consortium of nine higher education institutions, including three European universities, two educational institutions from Russia, two from Uzbekistan and two from Kazakhstan.

  The aim of the project is to contribute to the development of educational strategies, training programs for building communication competences and social responsibility, aimed at improving communication between the doctor and the patient.

  The interests of the communicative competence center are modernization of higher medical education, increase of efficiency of the educational process to prepare future doctors for patient-oriented communication and improve the quality of medical services.
