International Cooperation Relations

  Samarkand State Medical University's international goals are based on the University's Development Concept and are aimed at strengthening its position in the international educational space. The main benefits of internationalization include an increase in the number of international students, the development of joint projects with foreign universities and research centers, an increase in the number of researchers and faculty teaching at foreign universities, and an increase in the number of joint dual-degree programs with foreign universities.

  Samarkand State Medical University develops relationships with over 60 governmental and international organizations, foreign universities and research centers, and participants in international cooperation in education and science based on the principle of equality. Collaboration with universities in Europe, Asia, North America, and the CIS is developed through joint programs and educational mobility.

  Every year, the number of highly qualified specialists, faculty, students, and researchers from abroad visiting SamDTI for collaboration, training, professional development, and participation in scientific conferences increases. SamDTI is committed to establishing contacts with educational and research centers, universities, and public organizations worldwide, and the institute's doors are open to all international applicants, students, researchers, and faculty.

  As part of academic mobility, department staff improved their qualifications at the universities of Porto (Portugal), Pisa (Italy), Nitra (Slovakia), and Ghent (Belgium).

  Between Samarkand State Medical University and the Medical Clinic Park in Istanbul, Turkey. He gives a lecture on the topic “Laparoscopic gastric surgery” to 4th and 5th year students, master’s students and clinical residents of the Samarkand State Medical University.
