The research activities of students at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology No. 1 are carried out through the meetings of the student scientific club “Kelajak LORlar” (“Future ENT Specialists”).

  Within the framework of international and national student scientific-practical conferences, olympiads, and various competitions held at Samarkand State Medical University, students prepare research projects on pressing issues of ENT diseases, as well as modern methods of diagnosis and treatment.

  All students interested in the field of otorhinolaryngology are encouraged to participate, with the achievements of club members being actively supported and recognized.

  The supervisor responsible for the activities of the student scientific club is Assistant Fatima Sharifovna Iskhakova, an independent researcher and the author of more than 47 scientific publications.

  Active members of the club:

•  Boliev I., 6th-year student of the Pediatric Faculty, author and co-author of 17 scientific papers; holder of 10 diplomas, 15 certificates, 2 honorary diplomas, and recipient of the Rector’s Scholarship.
• Vazira Uktamova is a fifth-year student at the Faculty of Pediatrics, the author or co-author of nine scientific papers, and the recipient of four diplomas, seven certificates, and one certificate of merit.
• Guzal Khamdamova is a fifth-year student at the Faculty of Pediatrics, the author or co-author of eleven scientific papers, and the recipient of five diplomas, nine certificates, and two certificates of merit; she holds an IELTS score of 7.5.
