Research work of the department

  

  All employees of the department take an active part in the research work of the department and the university. Currently, the department's staff conducts research work in the following areas:

  •  Clinical and genetic aspects of the development of unstable angina in young men;
  • Clinical and genetic features of the development of arterial hypertension with the risk of cardiovascular complications in COVID-19;
  • Clinical features of the metabolic syndrome in the pathogenesisof COVID-19 and the development of cardiovascular diseases;
  • Clinical and immunological manifestations of pneumonia caused by SARS-CoV-2 against the background of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease;
  • Clinical and genetic aspects of pneumonia in SARS against the background of coronary heart disease;
  • Clinical, genetic and prognostic significance of psychoemotional stress in destabilization of chronic coronary heart disease;
  • Clinical and hemodynamic aspects of myocardial revascularization in patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation;
  •  Clinical and genetic factors of arterial hypertension development in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus;
  • Immunoendocrine homeostasis in menopausal coronary heart disease;
  • Clinical and hemodynamic features of right ventricular dysfunction in patients with myocardial infarction;
  • Prognostic value of the left atrial volume index in patients with complete blockage of the left bundle branch;
  • Prognostic value of hyperuricemia and polymorphisms of genes encoding uromodulin and antioxidant enzymes in the development of chronic kidney disease;
  • Methods of early detection of renal dysfunction in patients with arterial hypertension accompanied by cardiac arrhythmias, and optimization of their treatment;
  • A comprehensive approach to the management of patients with myocardial infarction, taking into account the clinical and functional assessment of risk factors in the region with arid climate.
  • Clinical and hemodynamic features of the development of coronary heart disease in patients of working age against the background of coronary artery anomalies

  Over the past 5 years, the department's staff has published more than 450 scientific papers, including 30 scientific articles in the Scopus database, 14 textbooks, 9 monographs, 21 computer programs, 1 invention, 1 utility model, 6 textbooks, such as the two-volume book "Clinical Cardiology" by Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor E.N. Tashkenbayeva, "Functional anatomy and diagnostics of the cardiovascular system" for residents and clinical residents, "Cardiology", "Internal diseases in family medicine" for students of the Department of Family Medicine of the International Faculty, as well as "Therapy" for students of the Faculty of Dentistry in Uzbek, English and Russian. Within the framework of international cooperation, joint textbooks have been published with our higher educational institutions.
