The Department of Radiology and Radiation Therapy of Samarkand State Medical University actively develops international cooperation in the fields of education, science, and practical medicine. The main areas of the Department’s international activities include experience exchange with foreign specialists, development of scientific cooperation, organization of joint educational events, improvement of faculty qualifications, and implementation of modern approaches in the training of medical professionals.

  Within the framework of international cooperation, leading specialists, professors, lecturers, and researchers from foreign educational institutions and medical organizations visit the Department to exchange professional experience, deliver lectures, conduct master classes, participate in scientific discussions, and discuss current issues in modern radiology, radiation therapy, traumatology, and orthopedics.

  As part of the development of academic and scientific cooperation, the Department was visited by lecturers from Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University (Republic of Kazakhstan):

• Ubaydayeva Amina Bilalovna — Senior Lecturer at Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University (Kazakhstan);
• Aldabergenova Shiray Adilxanovna — Senior Lecturer at Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University (Kazakhstan).

  Within the framework of scientific and practical cooperation, the Department also participated in educational activities involving leading specialists from the Russian Federation:

• Grigoryev Pyotr Vladimirovich — Head of the Traumatology Department of the Private Healthcare Institution “Traumatology and Orthopedics RZD-Medicine,” Candidate of Medical Sciences (Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation). Presentation topic: “Traumatology and Orthopedics: Development Trends.”
• Linnik Stanislav Antonovich — Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor (Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation). Presentation topic: “Modern Approaches and Prospects for the Development of Surgical Treatment of the Musculoskeletal System.” 

  The Department also develops professional cooperation with leading specialists from neighboring countries. Within the framework of cooperation, the Department was visited by: 

• Kadyrova Aliya Ishenbekovna — Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Radiology and Radiation Therapy at I.K. Akhunbaev Kyrgyz State Medical Academy.

  The organization of meetings, scientific seminars, and professional experience exchange contributes to improving the educational process, implementing modern technologies in radiology and radiation therapy, developing students’ clinical skills, and enhancing the professional level of the Department’s academic staff.

  The Department of Radiology and Radiation Therapy continues to expand international partnerships with foreign universities, research centers, and clinical institutions, focusing on integration into the global educational and scientific community.
