Scientific research work of students at the Department of Radiation Diagnostics and Therapy is carried out by organizing meetings of the student scientific circle "Young Radiologists", holding separate sectional meetings within the framework of international and national student scientific and practical conferences held at the Samarkand State Medical University.

  Students prepare research papers on current issues of modern radiation diagnostics and therapy, the most frequently encountered problems of modern medicine for national competitions of scientific research papers.

  All students interested in modern problems of radiation diagnostics of medical knowledge and activities are encouraged to cooperate, encouraging the achievements of the members of the circle.

  The responsible leader of the circle is the teacher Giyasova Nigora Kobilovna, today she is an assistant of the department, and also the author of more than 50 scientific works.

  Club leader: R. Giyasova, 6th-year student of the Faculty of Medicine, author and co-author of 23 scientific articles, winner of the 1st and 3-rd place diploma of the Samarkand 2020 Olympiad.
