Students' research activities at the Department of Clinical Pharmacology are carried out through the "Young Clinical Pharmacologists" Student Scientific Society.

  The primary objective of the society is to develop students' research skills, enhance their interest in clinical pharmacology, and actively engage them in scientific research. Regular meetings, scientific seminars, discussions of current issues in clinical pharmacology, and presentations of research findings are held within the framework of the society. In addition, separate scientific sessions are organized as part of international and national student scientific and practical conferences hosted by Samarkand State Medical University.

  Students actively prepare and present research projects for national competitions as well as international and national scientific conferences. Their studies focus on current issues in clinical pharmacology, rational pharmacotherapy, clinical pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, pharmacovigilance, personalized medicine, and drug safety.

  All students interested in clinical pharmacology and research activities are invited to join the society. Members have the opportunity to develop their research competencies, publish scientific papers, present their findings at conferences of various levels, and participate in scientific competitions and academic projects.

  Scientific Supervisor of the Student Scientific Society – Railya Rustamovna Muradova, Assistant of the Department of Clinical Pharmacology, Research Applicant (PhD Candidate), author of more than 100 scientific publications.

  Head of the Student Scientific Society – Diyor Ziyadullayev, a fifth-year student (Group 505) of the Faculty of Pharmacy.

  The number of society members continues to grow each year. During the 2023–2024 academic year, the society consisted of 28 students, while in the 2025–2026 academic year the membership increased to 37 students.

  Achievements of the Student Scientific Society

- Baratova Barno received the "Absolute Winner" diploma.

- Primkulov Jahongir won 3rd place at the 80th Student Scientific and Practical Conference.

- Members of the society successfully participated in the Clinical Pharmacology Olympiad held at N.N. Burdenko Voronezh State Medical University. Sevinch Azimova was awarded 2nd place, while Umida Jumaboyeva received 3rd place.
