Research work of the department

  The department’s faculty members conduct research in the following areas:

  1.  Development of ion-selective electrodes for the rapid determination of drugs based on heteropoly metal phosphate ionophores.
  2.  Micronutrient status of newborns born to mothers with anemia.
  3.  “The effect of fertilizers on the growth, development, yield, and phytochemical composition of lavender (Lavandula angustifolia Mill) raw materials in the Zerafshan Oasis.”
  4.  Characteristics of the development of endothelial dysfunction and cardiovascular risks in children with abdominal obesity.
  5.  Speech intervention for children with autism spectrum disorders: modern treatment approaches and multidisciplinary potential.

  In addition, all department staff actively participate in the research activities of the department and the university.

  Over the past 5 years, department staff have published more than 560 scientific works, including 2 textbooks, 4 study guides, 4 monographs, and more than 350 articles in national and international journals. They have also obtained 4 patents and more than 35 state awards. More than 20 articles have been published in journals indexed in Scopus. During this period, 1 PhD dissertation was successfully defended
