The educational and educational-methodological activities of the Department of Pediatrics of the Faculty of General Medicine are aimed at ensuring the high-quality training of future physicians, developing clinical reasoning and practical competencies in pediatrics and outpatient and primary care pediatrics.

  The Department provides instruction for third-, fourth-, and sixth-year students of the Faculty of General Medicine within the educational programs “Pediatrics” and “Outpatient and Primary Care Pediatrics.”

  The educational process is conducted in accordance with approved regulatory and educational-methodological documents, including the State Educational Standard, qualification requirements, curricula, and educational working programs.

  Modern educational technologies are actively integrated into the teaching process, including case-based learning, problem-based learning, graphic organizers, and simulation-based training. Approved diagnostic standards and current international recommendations are used during classes, enabling the integration of fundamental medical knowledge with up-to-date clinical approaches.

  Modern Technical and Information Resources

  The Department is equipped with the necessary technical resources to support a modern educational process. A telecommunication system has been established, and educational video materials, presentations, and multimedia programs are widely used. Lectures and practical classes are conducted using an interactive panel, which enhances the visual presentation of educational materials and promotes interactive learning.

  Educational, Methodological and Library Resources

  The Department’s library collection includes more than 70 titles of educational literature in Russian, Uzbek, and English. The electronic library contains textbooks, teaching manuals, methodological materials, and other educational resources, providing students with opportunities for independent study and the continuous expansion of their professional knowledge.

  Practical Training of Students

  Particular attention is given to the development of students’ practical skills. Students take responsibility for the clinical supervision of patients in accordance with the topics of their classes, participate in the examination and diagnostic assessment of patients in the diagnostic and physiotherapy departments located on the first floor of the hospital, and take part in the diagnostic and therapeutic process in the treatment room.

  Thus, the educational and educational-methodological activities of the Department combine modern educational technologies, international clinical recommendations, digital educational resources, and practice-oriented training, ensuring the preparation of competent, professionally oriented, and clinically skilled pediatricians.
