International Cooperation Relations
International cooperation is one of the priority areas of activity of Samarkand State Medical University and is aimed at strengthening its position within the international educational and scientific community. As part of this strategy, the Department of Pediatrics of the Faculty of General Medicine is actively developing professional partnerships with leading medical educational institutions in neighboring and distant countries.
The Department of Pediatrics of the Faculty of General Medicine has established cooperation with the following educational and scientific institutions:
Izhevsk State Medical Academy — Department of Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Pediatrics; Department of Outpatient Pediatrics;
Non-Governmental Educational Organization “Kazakhstan-Russian Medical University” — Department of Pediatrics with a Course in Pediatric Infectious Diseases;
Ural State Medical University — Department of Outpatient Pediatrics;
Bashkir State Medical University — Department of Hospital Pediatrics.
An important component of the Department’s international cooperation is the organization of joint online lectures, scientific and practical seminars, and master classes involving faculty members and specialists from foreign medical universities. This format enables professional exchange regardless of geographical distance, provides faculty members and students with an opportunity to become acquainted with modern approaches to the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases in children, and facilitates discussion of current issues in contemporary pediatrics.
Interdepartmental cooperation promotes the exchange of scientific ideas, educational technologies, clinical experience, and up-to-date professional information, expands opportunities for joint research activities, and contributes to improving the quality of student education. The participation of international specialists in online lectures and master classes gives students the opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge of international experience and contemporary trends in the development of pediatrics.
Thus, the international collaborations of the Department of Pediatrics represent an important instrument for advancing academic mobility, strengthening scientific and educational cooperation, and introducing best international practices into the educational process of Samarkand State Medical University.
