The department staff carry out scientific and practical work in collaboration with the staff of the Bashkir State Medical University of the Russian Federation.

  Every year, in order to establish cooperation, conduct training, improve skills, and participate in scientific conferences, specialists from Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Russia, and India are invited to the department, where mutual exchange of ideas and practical experience is carried out.

  Professor Dr. Pritpal Singh, a specialist in minimally invasive surgery and hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery from the “HOPE HOSPITAL – CRITICAL CARE & TRAUMA CENTRE” in India, together with the staff of the Department of Surgical Diseases of the Faculty of Pediatrics of Samarkand State Medical University, performed high-tech laparoscopic operations at the clinical base of the department — the Samarkand Station Hospital of “Uzbekistan Railways” JSC.
