Students of the 4th and 5th courses of the pediatric faculty study at the department. 4th year students are trained in "Abdominal Surgery", 5th year students in "Hospital Surgery". From the 2022-2023 academic year, 4th year students of the Medical-Pedagogical and Medical-Preventive Faculties are studying at the department on the subject of "Abdominal Surgery".

    When teaching at the department, the following technical means are used:

    The telecommunications system has been set up, video films, presentations, multimedia programs, lectures and practical exercises are shown using an "electronic whiteboard" connected to the central computer.

    Department Library:

• The library has more than 30 titles of educational literature in English, Uzbek and Russian.
• The electronic library includes textbooks, atlases, teaching aids, teaching aids, etc.

    Students supervise specialized patients in the wards of surgical departments, direct work with patients is organized in operating rooms and dressing rooms.

    In 2022, the Main Department of Science and Education of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan approved 24 educational and methodological recommendations.
