Science club
The Department of Orthopedic Dentistry at Samara State Medical University is constantly working to identify and implement the most effective forms and methods of teaching students. One of the key areas of this work is the activities of the student research club.

Student research clubs are an important component of the educational process and help students develop professional competencies, independence, practical skills, and a research-oriented mindset.

To increase students’ motivation to study various areas of orthopedic dentistry in greater depth, the department has organized a student research club, in which 30 first- through fifth-year students from the School of Dentistry participate. Under the guidance of the supervising instructor, Zh. A. Berdikulov, club members are refining their theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the following areas: “Propaedeutics of Orthodontics,” “Dental Prosthetics Using Partial Removable Dentures,” and “Dental Prosthetics Using Complete Removable Dentures.”

Student research at the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry is conducted through the organization of meetings of the student research club “Innovations in Prosthetic Dentistry” and the holding of specialized sessions as part of international and national student research and practice conferences at Samarkand State Medical University. Students prepare research papers on current issues in prosthetic dentistry, new innovative methods, and modern approaches to the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of the maxillofacial region in dentistry for national and international research competitions, thereby encouraging the achievements of the society’s members.
All students interested in dentistry are encouraged to join the club.
