Science club
A Student Scientific Society has been established at our department. It currently has 110 members from among third-, fourth-, and fifth-year students of the Faculty of Dentistry. The faculty assistant responsible for the activities of the Student Scientific Society, F. Kh. Mamatkulov, regularly delivers lectures and conducts master classes for students in Oral Surgery, Dental Implantology, and Periodontal Surgery.
Student research activities at the Department of Oral Surgery and Dental Implantology are carried out through meetings of the “Yosh Ma’naviyatchilar” (“Young Enlighteners”) Student Scientific Club, as well as through special section meetings held within the framework of international and national student scientific and practical conferences hosted by Samarkand State Medical University.
For national student research competitions, students prepare research projects addressing current issues in the social sciences and humanities, as well as the philosophical, methodological, and bioethical challenges of modern medicine.
All students interested in the social and humanitarian aspects of medical knowledge and professional practice, as well as in the department’s research activities, are invited to participate. The achievements of the scientific club members are actively supported and encouraged.
The faculty adviser responsible for the Student Scientific Club is Farkhodjon Khusenovich Mamatkulov. He is currently a PhD doctoral student and the author of more than 100 scientific publications.
