Scientific and research work of students in the department "3- Pediatrics and medical genetics" was organized at the meetings of the student scientific circle called "Young Scientist Paediatricians", scientific and practical conferences of international and republican students held at Samarkand State Medical University is carried out within. Research works are carried out on current problems of pediatrics, problems of modern medicine for republican competitions of students' research works.

  All students interested in pediatrics can become members of the club.

  The head teacher responsible for the circle is Bakhronov Sh.S., assistant. The activity of the club is carried out by all department employees. During the last 5 years, under the guidance of the staff of the department, the members of the faculty have published about 80 theses and scientific articles in the republican and foreign publications. In addition, the members of the club participate in Olympiads and conferences and take prizes. In particular: Khamidov Fozilbek Olimovich, 6th-year student of the Faculty of Pediatrics, author and co-author of 30 scientific articles, III-level diploma holder of the "Samarkand-2020" competition, Toraev Sherali, 4th-year student of the Faculty of Pediatrics, author of 20 scientific articles and co-author, owner of 5 diplomas, 20 certificates, 15 honorary certificates, 2 letters of appreciation. Grant winner in Slovakia.
