The medical profession stands among the most honorable and demanding callings. It is doctors who safeguard the health of society, dedicating their days — and often their nights — to preserving human life. Respect for their work is not only well-deserved, but deeply essential.

  To honor this noble profession, Samarkand State Medical University hosted a special ceremony. University Rector Professor Jasur Rizayev and Head of the Samarkand Regional Health Department Sukhrob Zayniyev addressed the audience with warm congratulations, expressing gratitude to all healthcare workers for their devotion and wishing them strength, prosperity, and continued success.

  As part of the celebration, a number of university staff members were awarded the prestigious badges “Excellence in Higher Education” and “Excellence in Healthcare of the Republic of Uzbekistan,” along with letters of appreciation and commemorative gifts. Professors and researchers who have distinguished themselves through their academic and scientific contributions were also recognized with honors such as “Professor of the Year,” “Associate Professor of the Year,” “Researcher of the Year,” and “Teacher of the Year.”

  The event concluded in a warm and joyful atmosphere, featuring live performances by gifted singers and vibrant displays of traditional dance, leaving guests with lasting impressions of celebration and pride.
