On October 9 of this year, Samarkand State Medical University welcomed Ateş Kadıoğlu, Vice President of the European Association of Urology and Andrology and Professor at Istanbul University.

    During the visit, meetings were held, and agreements were reached on involving clinical residents in short-term and long-term training courses at Istanbul Medical University, implementing several joint projects in the field of uro-andrology in collaboration with the Department of Urology at Samarkand State Medical University and staff from Istanbul University, as well as establishing academic mobility programs.

    Additionally, Ateş Kadıoğlu delivered a lecture for students on the topic "Requirements for becoming a urologist in Turkey," followed by an exchange of ideas.

    At the conclusion of the visit, Professor Ateş Kadıoğlu of Istanbul University was awarded the title of "Honorary Professor of Samarkand State Medical University."
