REPUBLICAN OLYMPIAD IN “UZBEK LANGUAGE” WILL BE HELD!

  A Republican Olympiad in “Uzbek Language” will be held to encourage international students studying at higher education institutions in the Republic of Uzbekistan to learn the Uzbek language more deeply, increase their interest in the Uzbek language and national culture, and demonstrate their knowledge and abilities.

  🏆 THE OLYMPIAD WILL BE HELD IN 2 STAGES:

  🔹 Stage I — Higher Education Institution Stage

  📅 September 25–26, 2026

  📍 Samarkand State Medical University

  🔹 Stage II — Republican Stage

  📅 October 2026

  📍 Ranch University, Urgench

  📌 Up to 3 students who achieve the best results at the university stage will participate in the Republican stage.

  📚 OLYMPIAD COMPONENTS:

  ✅ Listening comprehension;

  ✅ Reading comprehension;

  ✅ Lexical and grammatical test;

  ✅ Written communication — essay writing;

  ✅ Oral communication — conversation and presentation on a free topic;

✅ Knowledge of the history and literature of Uzbekistan, national traditions and customs, as well as Uzbek proverbs and sayings.
