As part of the nationwide Fire Literacy month, employees of the Samarkand City Department of Emergency Situations at Samarkand State Medical University held a meeting on the prevention of carbon monoxide poisoning, ignition of gas-air mixtures and fire prevention among the population during the heating autumn-winter period. 

    During the event, the necessary explanations were given on the rational use of gas and electrical equipment in the autumn-winter period, the prevention of the use of defective and homemade equipment, and compliance with fire safety regulations. 

    In the practical part of the meeting, practical skills in carbon monoxide poisoning, proper behavior in case of fires and various emergencies were demonstrated.
