International Cooperation Relations

The department's international activity is carried out in cooperation with urology departments of medical universities in various countries. In particular, regular meetings and professional development visits are conducted with universities and clinics in Turkey, China, Russia, and India.

Department of Urology staff members — Acting Associate Professor R.R. Gafarov and Assistant O.O. Davronov — participated in an international advanced training program held in Guangzhou, People's Republic of China, from September 1 to September 30, 2025.

The international advanced training program was organized under the "One Belt, One Road" initiative and focused on the application of minimally invasive technologies in urology.

The program covered all modern minimally invasive technologies used in contemporary urology: for urolithiasis — retrograde intrarenal surgery and percutaneous nephrolithotomy; for benign prostatic hyperplasia — transurethral resection of the prostate and holmium laser enucleation; and for oncourology — laparoscopic and robotic procedures for tumors of the kidney, ureter, urinary bladder, and prostate gland.
