Today, a preventive event focused on cybersecurity, safe internet use, and the prevention of drug-related crimes was organized with students at Samarkand State Medical University.

  The event was attended by Eldor Tangirov, Vice-Rector for Youth Issues and Spiritual-Educational Affairs; Ibrat Kurbanov, Advisor to the Rector; and specialists from the Cybersecurity Department of the Samarkand Regional Department of Internal Affairs.

  During the meeting, students were provided with important recommendations regarding cyber threats they might encounter on the Internet, cases of fraud, the protection of personal data, and the proper and safe use of social networks.

  Furthermore, special attention was paid to the prevention of crimes related to drugs and psychotropic substances among the youth, the negative impact of such vices on human health and their future, as well as issues of legal liability.

  Throughout the event, students asked the experts questions of interest to them and received the necessary recommendations and explanations.
