Cooperation Opportunities Discussed with a Leading Saudi Arabian Company
A meeting was held at Samarkand State Medical University with Faisal Al-Dawood, Chief Executive Officer of KDOT, one of Saudi Arabia's leading companies, and Dr. Saeed Rakha, the company's Senior Healthcare Advisor.
During the discussions, both parties highlighted the rapid development of bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the two countries. Particular attention was given to the productive dialogue between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Minister of Health of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Fahad bin Abdulrahman Al-Jalajel, which has created new opportunities for expanding collaboration in healthcare and medical education.
The meeting also focused on the employment prospects of Bachelor of Nursing graduates from Samarkand State Medical University in healthcare institutions across Saudi Arabia. The parties discussed candidate selection and preparatory training procedures, employment conditions, remuneration, and other aspects of professional placement. As a result of the negotiations, both sides reached an agreement to prepare and sign a Memorandum of Cooperation and the relevant bilateral agreements in the near future.
