University Students and Leadership Attend the Opening Ceremony of the New MEROS International Hospital Building
On 15 June, the administration, faculty members, and students of Samarkand State Medical University participated in the official opening ceremony of the new MEROS International Hospital building dedicated to interventional cardiac surgery and medical rehabilitation.
The ceremony was attended by the hospital's management, university vice-rectors, faculty members, and students. Participants had the opportunity to explore the facilities of the newly opened building, which is equipped with state-of-the-art medical technologies for providing specialized cardiac surgical care and comprehensive patient rehabilitation.
The commissioning of the new facility represents an important milestone in the development of the regional healthcare system. It is expected to facilitate the implementation of advanced medical technologies into clinical practice, enhance the quality of healthcare services, and expand practical training opportunities for future medical professionals.
During the visit, participants also became acquainted with the organization of diagnostic and treatment services, the modern equipment of the specialized departments, and the prospects for strengthening cooperation between the University and the medical institution in the fields of education, scientific research, and practical healthcare.
