Samarkand State Medical University hosted a conference dedicated to the presentation of newly published educational and scientific literature under the theme “A Book is a Source of Knowledge.”

  Opening the event, Professor Jasur Rizaev, Rector of Samarkand State Medical University, emphasized that there is currently a growing demand not only within the university but throughout the Republic of Uzbekistan for modern textbooks and teaching materials that meet the evolving requirements of contemporary medical education.

  During the main session of the conference, newly published textbooks, teaching manuals, and scientific publications authored by the university's faculty members were presented to participants. The authors introduced their works, highlighting their relevance and practical value for improving the educational process and enhancing students' professional training.

  At the conclusion of the conference, participants emphasized that the development and broad implementation of modern, high-quality educational resources play a vital role in training future healthcare professionals. The event also served as an important platform for showcasing the academic achievements of the university's faculty, expanding students' learning opportunities, and further promoting a strong culture of reading and scholarship within the university.
