In the healthcare system of our country, particular attention is paid to the development of international cooperation, strengthening ties between medical educational institutions, and the implementation of advanced foreign experience into practice. The 4th Congress of Dentists of Tajikistan, held in Dushanbe, became an important platform for professional dialogue among medical specialists of the region.

    On April 17, 2026, this prestigious event was organized by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan in cooperation with the Association of Dentists of Tajikistan. Leading scientists and specialists from Uzbekistan, the United States, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan participated in the congress.

    Notably, the delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, led by the Rector of Samarkand State Medical University, Jasur Rizayev, also took part in this international forum and actively contributed to its proceedings.

    During the congress, key issues such as the implementation of innovative technologies in modern dentistry and maxillofacial surgery, as well as the application of new diagnostic and treatment methods in practice, were extensively discussed.

    As emphasized at the conclusion of the congress, such exchanges of experience between medical professionals of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, particularly between Samarkand State Medical University and medical institutions of the neighboring country, are of great importance. Active participation in international events contributes not only to elevating the quality of dental and maxillofacial services in our country to a new level but also to improving the overall standard of healthcare services across the region.
