A delegation from one of Turkey’s prestigious higher education institutions — Ankara University — led by its Rector, Professor Dr. Necdet Ünüvar, visited Samarkand State Medical University.

    During the visit, the guests became closely acquainted with the university, its educational process, and modern learning conditions. An exchange of views was held regarding the prospects for bilateral cooperation.

    As part of the visit, a cordial meeting was also held with students studying under a joint educational program with University of Health Sciences (Turkey). The meeting was attended by the Rector of Samarkand State Medical University, Jasur Rizayev, and the Rector of Ankara University, Necdet Ünüvar, who expressed their commitment to strengthening and sustaining friendly and cooperative relations.

    This visit will contribute to further strengthening scientific and academic cooperation between the higher education institutions of the two brotherly countries, expanding joint projects, and increasing opportunities available to students.
