From February 16 to 22 of the current year, the II International Forum of Students and Young Scientists on the topic “Morphology and Surgery” was held at the Abu Ali ibn Sino Bukhara State Medical Institute at a high level. This prestigious event served to strengthen the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of medical students, develop international cooperation, and expand the exchange of experience.

  The forum was attended by representatives of more than 10 higher education institutions of our country, as well as teams from leading universities of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan.

  In particular, within the framework of the international forum, 28 students from the “Eskulap” and “Skalpel” surgical clubs of Samarkand State Medical University participated in the Olympiad and demonstrated their theoretical and practical knowledge in the following fields: abdominal surgery, plastic surgery, neurosurgery, cardiac surgery, transplantology, anesthesiology and resuscitation, obstetrics and gynecology, urology, otorhinolaryngology, and traumatology.

  According to the final results of the Olympiad, our university students were awarded 4 gold, 7 silver, and 3 bronze medals.
