A spiritual-educational and preventive event was held with students of the Faculty of General Medicine of Samarkand State Medical University on the topics “We Fight Ignorance with Enlightenment” and “The Priority of Human Dignity and Rights Is the Foundation of Development.”

  The event was attended by the Head of the Samarkand Regional Department of the Committee on Religious Affairs S. Boymurodov, the university prevention inspector O. Eshmuratov, and other responsible officials.

  During the event, detailed explanations were provided on the formation of a healthy worldview among youth, protection from alien ideas, and ensuring the priority of human dignity and rights. Explanations were also given on the rational use of internet networks and awareness of prohibited websites and materials.

  In addition, explanatory work aimed at preventing the spread of narcotic and psychotropic drugs was conducted during the event.
