Senior Nurse of the Neurosurgery Department of Samarkand State Medical University’s Multidisciplinary Clinic Completed Advanced Training in Italy

  As part of efforts to form a specialized scientific and practical center for neurosurgery and neurorehabilitation at the university, faculty members of the Department of Neurosurgery, master’s students, clinical residents, and physician residents of the Neurosurgery Department of Samarkand State Medical University’s Multidisciplinary Clinic are systematically improving their professional skills at leading international clinics and implementing modern diagnostic and treatment methods in practice.

  In order to introduce new and modern standards in clinical and organizational activities, the professional development of nursing staff at leading foreign clinics has also been prioritized. Within this framework, the Senior Nurse of the Neurosurgery Department of the Multidisciplinary Clinic of SamSMU, F. I. Izimchanova, completed advanced training at several leading clinics in Milan, Italy.

  This promising cooperation program was implemented within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of migration and mobility between the governments of the two countries, signed in the presence of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan during the official visit of Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni to Samarkand on May 28–29 of the current year.

  During the internship, the nurse visited the “Fatebenefratelli,” “Sacco,” and “Buzzi” clinics in the Lombardy region, where she gained new knowledge on nursing practices in leading Italian clinics, as well as on the application of modern computer technologies in organizing medical services.
