A spiritual, educational, and preventive event entitled “Enlightenment Against Ignorance” was held at Samarkand State Medical University.

  The event was attended by S. Boymurodov, Head of the Samarkand Regional Territorial Department of the Committee for Religious Affairs, representatives of law enforcement agencies, university officials, and students of the Faculty of Medicine.

  During the meeting, detailed explanations were provided on fostering a healthy worldview among young people, protecting them from alien and destructive ideas, and ensuring the priority of human dignity and human rights. Discussions also focused on the role of the human factor and values in societal development, as well as safeguarding youth from harmful information flows, ideological influences, and spiritual threats.

  In addition, explanatory and preventive measures aimed at preventing crime and offenses among students were carried out during the event.
