Samarkand State Medical University previously announced a grant-funded program providing clinical residents, master’s students, and doctoral candidates with the opportunity to undertake internships in developed countries.

  The program aims to enhance the professional and scientific competencies of young medical specialists, enable them to master modern diagnostic, treatment, and research methods, and facilitate the implementation of acquired knowledge into practical activities. As part of the program’s implementation, a commission meeting was held on December 24 of the current year with candidates whose applications had been accepted.

  The meeting was attended by the University Rector, Jasur Rizayev, along with members of the commission. Individual interviews were conducted with the candidates, and their submitted documents were reviewed and evaluated.
