On December 19 of the current year, a spiritual and educational roundtable discussion titled “Enlightenment Against Ignorance” was held at Samarkand State Medical University.

  The event was attended by R. I. Sultanov, Chief Specialist of the Samarkand City Department of the Committee on Religious Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as I. Qurbanov, Advisor to the Rector of SamSMU. The speakers engaged in an open and constructive dialogue with students.

  During the discussion, particular emphasis was placed on promoting enlightenment in society, protecting young people from various ideological threats, and fostering a healthy worldview and spiritual resilience. The importance of nurturing students’ commitment to knowledge, as well as respect for national and universal values, was also highlighted.

  At the conclusion of the event, students raised questions of interest and received comprehensive and detailed responses from the experts.
