As part of the “Health Marathon” initiative, a roundtable discussion was organized at the multidisciplinary clinic of Samarkand State Medical University with participants of the “Medical Innovators” program.
The event featured expert speakers, including B. Turayev, specialist of the Tashkent State Dental University Children’s Multidisciplinary Clinic; R. Rashidov, Associate Professor of the Department of Hospital Orthopedic Dentistry at TSDU; Sh. Rasulov, Head of Marketing at Kimyo University Hospital; K. Rafiqov, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Propedeutics of Orthopedic Dentistry at TSDU; and D. Abdurakhmanov, Associate Professor and Head of the Urology Department at SamSMU.
During the discussion, young doctors, students, and clinical residents gained valuable insights into global medical trends, future transformation of the healthcare sector, and mechanisms for applying the experience of developed countries to Uzbekistan’s medical practice.
Participants highlighted that ongoing innovations and reforms in healthcare hold great significance for the development of New Uzbekistan. Such meetings serve to strengthen the scientific potential of young specialists, foster the implementation of modern approaches in practice, and elevate national medicine to a new stage of progress.
