As previously reported, the “Health Marathon” is taking place in the Samarkand region from 17 November to 17 December 2025. Specialists from the Republican Specialized Scientific-Practical Medical Center of Neurosurgery (RSSPMC Neurosurgery) in Tashkent are actively participating in the events held within the marathon.

  On 21 November 2025, in collaboration with RSSPMC neurosurgeons — PhD, Associate Professor M.A. Aliyev and PhD B.A. Saidov — an innovative, high-technology surgical procedure was successfully performed on a patient diagnosed with a cerebellar vermis and brainstem tumor.

  The tumor, located in a highly complex and delicate area of the brain, was completely removed using advanced microscopic techniques. The patient’s quality of life and neurological function were preserved.

  Today, the center has accumulated extensive experience in performing such high-tech surgical interventions, enabling timely and highly qualified neurosurgical care for local patients.
