Samarkand State Medical University is home not only to students from Uzbekistan but also to those from Russia, South Korea, China, Turkey, India, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, the Philippines, Indonesia, and several other countries.

  Currently, a total of 4,481 (four thousand four hundred eighty-one) international students are studying at the International Education Faculty, which was specifically established for foreign students.

  On November 19, the university’s rector, Professor Jasur Rizayev, and the dean of the International Education Faculty, Doctor of Medical Sciences Sobirjon Mamaradjabov, held meetings with 1st-, 2nd-, and 3rd-year students.

  The event was conducted in an open dialogue format, allowing students to voice their concerns, share proposals and ask questions directly to the university leadership. Participants had the opportunity to receive comprehensive answers and engage in constructive discussions aimed at improving the educational experience.
