On November 1, the Minister of Education and Scientific Research of Jordan, Azmi Mahafzah, paid an official visit to Samarkand State Medical University. The distinguished guest was warmly welcomed by the university’s rector, Professor Jasur Rizayev.

  During the visit, Minister Mahafzah familiarized himself with the university’s activities, modern facilities created for students and faculty, and the innovative educational methods being implemented in the teaching process.

  He also visited the Museum of the History of Samarkand State Medical University, where he learned about the nearly hundred-year history of the institution and its scientific achievements.

  Minister Azmi Mahafzah highly praised the university’s educational system and expressed confidence that the experience of Samarkand State Medical University could contribute significantly to the advancement of Jordan’s education and healthcare sectors.
