From October 29 to 31, 2025, the XI Belarusian Dental Congress was held in the Republic of Belarus — one of the leading international scientific and practical events in the field of dentistry. The delegation of Samarkand State Medical University, led by Rector Professor Jasur Rizayev, took part in the congress.

  During the event, participants discussed key issues in modern dentistry, innovative approaches to diagnosis and treatment, and strategies for modernizing medical education.

  On October 29, a meeting of the Association of Dentists of the CIS Member States was held at the CIS Executive Committee headquarters. The delegation of Uzbekistan was represented by Professor Jasur Rizayev, Rector of Samarkand State Medical University. The meeting focused on the development of dental science, the unification of dental education standards across CIS countries, and the revision of academic curricula. A set of recommendations was adopted to enhance the quality and consistency of dental education in the region.

  Participation in this congress provided the university’s representatives with an excellent opportunity to study advanced international practices, explore recent scientific developments in dentistry, and strengthen international professional and academic cooperation.
