On October 6-8 of this year, the international congress "Prospects of Artificial Intelligence in Dentistry" was held in Samarkand. More than 50 specialists from over 10 countries, including the USA, Germany, Italy, Russia, China, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Morocco, and Finland, participated in the congress organized by the World Dental Organization, the International Dental Association, and Samarkand State Medical University.
Speakers at the opening of the congress emphasized the importance of the event in further improving the quality of the healthcare system and dental services, adapting them to world standards, and ensuring the integration of artificial intelligence into diagnostics, treatment planning, and educational processes.
During the congress, a showcase of the latest technologies and new equipment in the field of dentistry was organized. Lectures and master classes were also held on topical subjects such as "Modern Microelements in Orthodontics," "Modern Methods of Dental Rehabilitation," "Artificial Intelligence in Modern Implantology," "Prospects of Artificial Intelligence in Dentistry and Education," and "Prospects of Pediatric Dentistry."
It is also worth noting that within the framework of the congress, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Samarkand State Medical University and Planmeca, a world-leading manufacturer of dental technologies.
This cooperation, aimed at developing dental education through modern digital technologies and innovative teaching methods, organizing joint projects, seminars and conferences, and collaborating in technological development, plays an important role in introducing world standards into our country's healthcare system.
During the congress, which brought together dentists from around the world, a number of foreign and Uzbek dentists were ceremoniously admitted to the World Dental Association.
It is no exaggeration to say that the international congress "Prospects of Artificial Intelligence in Dentistry" became a platform for the international exchange of knowledge and experience, bringing together dentists from all over the world in the ancient yet youthful city of Samarkand!
