The III International Medical Forum "Medicine and Education: Uniting Universities and Societies" was held at Samarkand State Medical University. 

    The forum was attended by representatives of the healthcare sector of our republic, as well as Turkey, China, Azerbaijan and other countries. 

    The speakers at the opening of the forum emphasized the importance of the organized conference for adapting modern medical education to the needs of society, deepening integration between medical universities and healthcare institutions, as well as expanding international cooperation.

    The forum included lectures, master classes, meetings of young scientists' circles, as well as a number of surgical events dedicated to topical issues of medicine and medical education, such as "Advantages of robotic technologies in colorectal surgery", "Prospects for the development of telemedicine", "New achievements in plastic and reconstructive surgery" and others.
