On August 20, Samarkand State Medical University was visited by a delegation of representatives from a number of leading medical educational institutions, service and manufacturing companies in Japan.

  The guests were received by the rector of Samarkand State Medical University, Professor Zhasur Rizaev. Issues of establishing mutual cooperation were discussed at the meeting, including the organization of an exchange of experience in the field of clinical immunology, manual therapy, joint work in the field of pharmacy, the attraction of advanced medical technologies to the university, as well as the establishment of academic exchanges between staff and students.

  Strengthening cooperation between Samarkand State Medical University and leading Japanese medical institutions will make a significant contribution to strengthening friendly relations between the two countries, as well as to introducing advanced Japanese experience into the healthcare system and higher medical education.
