On May 31, Samarkand State Medical University hosted the IV Forum of Graduates who graduated from the university in different years as part of the "Meeting of Three Generations". 

  The graduates first got acquainted with the new building, the education system and the conditions created for students to receive higher professional education.

  The welcoming ceremony was attended by graduates of the university from different years, currently working in many countries of the world, honorary professors and lecturers, representatives of the healthcare sector. 

  Speaking at the opening ceremony of the IV Alumni Forum, the rector of Samarkand State Medical University, Professor Jasur Rizaev briefly spoke about the 95-year glorious history of the university, the stages of formation of SamSMU, the training of more than fifty thousand qualified personnel not only for the healthcare system of our republic, but also the world, and also provided information about its current activities and ongoing projects aimed at entering the global educational space.

  During the forum, performances by graduates from different years were heard, and symbolic memorable gifts were presented to the university. The graduates were also awarded badges from the SamSMU Alumni Association.

  The Alumni Forum continued in a festive atmosphere with colorful performances, songs and dances.
