In May of this year, the "International Conference on Industry, Education and Research of the Silk Road" was held in the People's Republic of China. Samarkand State Medical University (SamSMU) took an active part in the most important events of this conference.

  This prestigious conference was organized on the initiative of Xi'an International University, one of the leading higher education institutions located in Shaanxi Province, China. During the visit, the SamSMU delegation met with the university's leadership, discussed the prospects for bilateral educational, scientific and academic cooperation, and signed a memorandum of cooperation. This memorandum will create opportunities for future exchanges of teachers and students, the implementation of joint scientific research and innovative projects.

  Representatives of SamSMU also took an active part in the 5th International Academic Exchange Conference "Heritage, Scientific Innovations and Industrial Production of Traditional Chinese Medicine". The signing ceremony of the Alliance for the Development of Traditional Education took place within the framework of the conference, which was also attended by Samarkand State Medical University. Representatives of the university have put forward a number of initiatives aimed at combining traditional and modern medical fields.

  Participation in the international conference will be another important step towards further strengthening the position of Samarkand State Medical University in the international arena, increasing its scientific potential and accelerating integration processes in education.
